Le Grand Entertainment

I recommend this DJ - he did a great job! Check out his website: www.legrandentertainment.com - he has a band and sings just like Bonacelli (not sure if that is how his name is spelt) anyway he sings spanish & italian.

You say you want a revolution

I just learned about a really important issue, and signed a petition about it. The federal government is on the verge of turning over a huge portion of our public airwaves to companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast--who will use them for private enrichment instead of the public good.

These newly available airwaves are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to revolutionize Internet access -- beaming high-speed signals to every park bench, coffee shop, workplace, and home in America. Phone and cable companies don't want this competition to their Internet service--they'd rather purchase the airwaves at auction and sit on them.

You can sign the petition I signed here - urging the government to make sure the public airwaves are used for the public good:http://civic.moveon.org/airwaves/?r_by=-8452794-AxkQ.A&rc=mailto

BENNY'S BURGERITIS

A good friend of mine just had her first book published. It's based on a story she wrote in 4th grade. Her mom saved it (see why we do these things). Anyway the book is funny & can be found on amazon.com, borders.com & target.com.

Go LAUREN!!!

DOWNLOADING MUSIC

A was asking a few computer savvy friends where do they get their free music on line? I don't want to buy music on line & I don't want to buy whole albums for a couple of songs......so here is the alternative.

Up Close & Personal

with Julian Lennon many many years ago. This was at Irving Plaza. I thought about this because in a few weeks I will be going to this venue to see Delores of the Cranberries. I have seen the Corrs, Erasure & Lisa Loeb at Irving Plaza. I used to go to Irving Plaza for swing dancing now its just concerts :/ I kinda miss that.

Love, Hope & Strength

This foundation was founded by Leukemia survivors Mike Peters, of the Welsh rock band The Alarm and entertainment insurance executive James Chippendale, as a way to give back by building a support network for cancer patients worldwide.

I saw Mike perform a two hour show tonight at the "Canal Room" (nice venue). He'll be playing at the Empire State Building Monday. This is the second time I've seen him & I very much enjoyed "Rescue Me" "Rain in the Summertime" & "68 guns". Oh and the fans are sooo awesome they know to throw the deck of cards during "Where were you hiding when the storm broke". You totally don't expect it and then he says "all cards are marked" and its raining cards.

Anyway enjoyable night in the city, except the part where we were trying to go to the empire state building before dinner and were completely oblivious to the red tape, helicopters, camera people & tarp!!! Yup someone jumped out of the building - - - the empire state building. So needless to say we couldn't go.

WEDDING ALBUMS

I was trying to figure out another way to do weddings albums. There had to be an easier, less time consuming process & less expensive way for me to complete albums.

Well this picaboo site might be exactly what I was looking for. I tried out an album it took about 2 hours & only $77 bucks for a 44 page wedding album.

I opened an account (n/c), created an albums, sorted the pages the way I wanted, picked the layout and color scheme 1 - 2 - 3. It be at my door step in about a week.

They help with all sorts of albums not just weddings.

I am really excited and I'll keep you posted!
